In our country, there are numerous ideal & impressive personalities. One of them is Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam- most familiar admirable person, having saint qualities. His sincerity, enthusiasm towards his passion makes him a noble model for society.

This man was son of Ashiamma & Jainulabudeen, born in Rameshwaram on 15th October 1931. He spent most of his time with books, was a technical musician to playing classical instrument-Veena, & believed in spirituality.

 He never uttered even a single harsh word for his enemies. Basically, he was belonged to branch of technology which dealt with designing of flights, aviation, and space exploration. He completed aerospace engineering [1955-1960] from Madras Institute of technology. Afterwards, he introduced his path by hardworking at various research centers, he had launched satellites, planned missiles etc. He was assigned as a scientist at Defence research and Development organization where, in 1965 he had given outcomes associated to Rocket project. His victorious project was ‘Rohini Satellite Series’ which consist of four satellites established by Satellite Launch Vehicle & 3 of them made it successfully to orbit & this project was done at Indian Space Research Organization [ISRO].

He worked on the Satellite launch vehicle-III & Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle [PSLV] also. At the Anna University [Chennai] & JSS University [Mysore], he taught aerospace engineering to students, his way of dealing with students was beyond praise.

 He was assigned as the Chief Executive of Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme. He showed his interest on the formation of ballistic missiles [Valiant & Devil projects] & that is the reason behind the calling of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam as “Missile Man of India”.

 In 1998, the famous Pokhran-II nuclear test was done under the presence of Abdul Kalam.

He was the distinguished scientist who got opportunity to stand on the 11th position of President of India. Besides the scientific field, he was a great social reformer also. He was a man of simple living but high-thinking. Truth, courage, ambitious, dedication- all were principles of his life. He never cared for the difficulties in life. On the account of his qualities, everyone respected him.

The whole country was mourned at his death. Although his body is not present in this world yet his soul always with us & his character motivates people to become strong, dedicated, and reliable towards nation.
